About the author

Tom van Gelder (1953-2012) is educated as a biologist at Leiden and Wageningen Universities. After that he worked for an organization for nature conservation. In the meantime he studied phenomenology, a.o. at the Louis Bolk Insitute. In 1989 he started as a teacher at the bio-dynamic agricultural school Warmonderhof. The contents of this website is a reflection of his lessons and was developed in cooperation with the students.
